Not bad at all. Interesting subject matter. May want to tone down the adjectives a bit, you want to be descriptive, I know, but they're a little thick in spots. "Small, fragile, weary looking woman" for example. It's too much, especially since small does not always equal fragile and you're dipping into the realm of alternating POVs. Keep writing-good luck.
