How much worse would the recession be had the Republicans won the Presidency?

Once again, your views are spot on. I'm glad at least one person on this site has some sense. Mccain/palin winning when our country was in such a precarious position would have likely destroyed us as a nation. All the tea baggers who are gaining in popularity (if they win) will also ruin any progress made thus far by Obama, which has been significant. I hope America wakes up from their brainwashed hypnosis and realizes that people like palin and o' donnell are ridiculous and quite possibly mentally challenged.
