Hollyoaks: Lorreta/Olly..?

Yeah the plots are getting a bit crazy aren't they? With the Loretta thing I think it's because they had this big storyline planned for her where she had killed a child when she was younger, (like about 12) by accident with her friend. Then her friend turned up and tried to get Loretta to confess to the police or something. But they didn't go ahead with this storyline in the end, because the plot was based around a real life event and the family of the boy who actually got killed in real life didn't want this to happen. So I think they had to come up with a new storyline pretty quickly?
