How would i go about reformatting an advent netbook computer?

Well I need to reformat my laptop to stop a certain error message from appearing with nearly all downloads. The problem is that the laptop does not have a disk drive but i have the disk to get it done. So basically i was wondering is there another way i have to do it that doesn't involve the disk?
