Dont you agree WWE are being very disrespectful to the memory of Chris Benoit?

I was reading a wrestling article about Chris Benoit, I think about his WCW days, and they said that his background appearances and run ins are being edited out. I've seen this happen before e.g. on WWE's page of past rumble winners it looks like there was no rumble in 2004, simply because Chris benoit won (from no.1 which makes this more shocking). I know what he did was unforgivable, and I personally deeply regret that it happened, but I dont believe that one incident, however horrible it was, gives Vince the right to completely erase Benoit from wrestling history, considering he is one of the best technical wrestlers of all time, and to try and make sure everyone completely forgets all the years of effort he put into the company. What do you guys think? Should this be happening or not?
