What baffles me is what happens to electrons under fault conditions. Help for a friend with a real bad work friendship issue. I have a friend who is trying to patch up a good friendship with a female coworker at his job. Apparently, they have been friends at work for about seven months. In the last month though, it all went steadily downhill. The female coworker revealed to him her living situation finally and also revealed she was gay or bi (with preference for women)..not certain, and was seeing someone. He has discussed this with other coworkers that while they agree, this situation needs time to heal, they also feel this girl is acting really immature with the issue. But, the situation is real aggravating and my friend is looking for immediate solutions on how to patch things up eventually. Ignoring the issue or blowing is too difficult since they work often close by to each other. It would just end up making things more difficult. He has been a extraordinarily supportive friend to her whenever she had problems. My understanding is that as far as performance goes ethanol is basically equivalent to petrol. However, I also understand that ethanol is slightly less efficient. Converting a gas engine into an ethanol engine is actually more difficult than some would have you think. Ethanol is slightly more abrasive than gas thus it can cause certain parts in a gas powered car to break down. You will most likely have to replace all of your fuel system (including the tank) and some other engine parts in order to make the change.

Have you considered that there may be more to the story than what your friend has told you? You should remember that there are two sides to every story. You have your friends side, the police are trying to get the whole story. Children are not usually removed from their parents custody without good cause and plenty of evidence. The child must have had bruises or said something to cause all three children to be removed. I wouldn't be surprised if the mom actually DID hurt the little one and is now trying to blame the older daughter. This family sounds like it is very messed up. It is probably good that the authorities are involved.

College Student wondering: Should I be wary of my boyfriend's 8th grade crush?

Well, the trouble I have with cutting back is that we ALREADY did a whole lot of the things people are recommended to do to cut costs. The heat in the house is set at 62 all winter, day and night. We combine trips—I rarely do an errand singly—when I go to the bank, I hit the seconds grocery and the country store on the same trip, walk or bike to do errands when we can (we aren’t pikers on the bikes, either—10 miles is a piece of cake, don’t air condition in the summer. I go further than lots of people—there are several “seconds” grocery stores in the area; I know them all and shop at them first. I THEN go to the local country store or farmer’s market for produce, and when the season starts, the farm stands. I buy VERY little at normal grocery stores, and the savings is substantial. I buy in bulk when it's cheap, especially for long-storage items or freezable items. We give up things when the price goes too high. When milk hit 2.80 a gallon, I started to buy it less. It’s not close to $4, and I just don’t buy it. I keep powdered milk on hand—the seconds groceries have it at good prices frequently. I avoid processed foods as much as I can, in general. I buy in bulk, and we “eat from the edges” of the store as much as possible. I bake all our bread—substantially lower cost, MUCH better bread. My kids now object to what they call that “poofy white stuff.” I buy most of my clothes at thrift stores.
